Cool! I doodled an airship recently in ballpoint, it was fun! This looks like it was fun too.

Wow, that's really impressive! The way the clouds look kind of like water underneath it is awesome. I'm also liking the sort of historical, elegant look of it too, it looks like something straight out of the 1800's.

Thank you so much Robonightmare. I was really aiming for a steam-punk Victorian age style. I'm really drawn to that era visually, all of the industrial and mechanical design - but still with a touch of elegance. I particularly like the idea of airships at the Great Exhibitions of the time, maybe I should start a series!?

I say, go for it! You nailed the steampunk look, that's for sure. Airships are a favorite of mine, the best part is that if you run out of fuel, you don't crash and blow up, just float around for awhile.

Thank you again :)
You are absolutely right, not blowing up or crashing is a definitely advantage! If I had my way I'd always travel in an airship, or at least a hot air balloon. But it seems for the mean time I'm stuck with just two legs wandering on the ground.
I think I might work on the airship series next, and I have you to thank for spurring on the idea.
(p.s. however it will have to be added to a long list of potential projects.....)
